ZURBword is our way of capturing and sharing concepts with the rest of the world. As a group that specializes in interaction design and strategy, we've found it to be a unique way of sharing what we've learned through our experiences.

We fired off a new ZURBword last week, Design Thinking. Here's a snippet:

"Design thinking is the result of a combination of processes and methods that all aim at one goal—rolling up your sleeves and doing stuff, in rapid iteration, until you've created something amazing. Sounds great, right? So why doesn't everyone do it? Because they're scared, and a little bit stuck."

Design Thinking is a way of getting things done. Getting them done fast, on time, and with room to improve. Why the last one? Because you can't always get stuck on the minor things in life. While people consider design to be in the details, the core experience of anything has to be nailed first.

Focusing on the bigger picture—the spark, the wow, the win—in your design is what we're about. And that's Design Thinking.
