Notable is Live, Get the iPhone app by Dmitry

I have to be honest this is one post I’m very excited to write—so here is the most exciting update from the time I (Dmitry) joined ZURB: Notable is now live and open to public! So now you ask yourself:

Matt launches Notable with a push of a button this morning.

What does this mean for me?

You don't need to request an invitation to the private release anymore, just sign up from Notable homepage and start giving feedback.

Do you have an iPhone app for Notable?

Funny you ask! We do! Our iPhone app lets you capture apps or websites from your iPhone and iPod touch and upload the captures to your Notable account. It's great to give feedback on development you’re doing for iPhone. Read more about it here.

I heard I can win an iPod nano by using Notable?

Yes, you can. Read this blog post to find out how you can win.

Why is this an important event for ZURBians?

As you probably remember from our prior posts, Notable was initially created to improve our design workflow. We incorporated many suggestions and comments from our private release users into this release. While we have a lot more work to do, we're thrilled to see our creation go live.

To capture our excitement here at ZURB we were all asked “Why is Notable release exciting?” Here are our responses:

Rock 'n roll! Great to get this guy out the door and start getting some major user feedback. I'm sure we'll have our hands full for a good long while polishing it up, adding new features and making sure it's the best, easiest way to give feedback online.

And Roeland: you win at video.

  • Matt (ZURB) says:

I had to be very careful this morning to push the Launch Notable button and not the Launch Nuclear Missiles button. I should really remap those keys so they are not next to each other.

  • Jeremy (ZURB) says:

I can't tell you how gratifying it's been to see the team work and refine the app based on our own usage and feedback, then to take it live to the world. Kudos to the entire team for working so hard to make a great app a reality.

In a side note, it was hilarious watching Dmitry bunk desk with Matt all day relaying customer feedback for quick fixes and improvements throughout the day. Nicely done, guys!

Really cool application... I will be using it a lot... I love the fact that you can see the source code as well!!

    Good Job!

  • Kevin Holesh says:

I'm so glad this is finally public.

You have an absolutely beautiful web app and I'm looking forward to seeing it succeed in dominating enemies and having more sex everywhere!

  • Brent Buford says:

Very slick! Got right in and started using it immediately. Already tracking changes on some of our new interface development using your tool. Love it, already subscribed!

  • Darrell Keezer says:

Love it! Making life easier already!

  • Kai says:

Love your blog, website and design, but $24 is not realistic for a freelancer to use your tool. Would be great if you offered a more affordable option. I think most freelancers would only pay about $10/month for a service like this... Keep up the good work tho.

    Kai

  • Dmitry (ZURB) says:

Hey Kai - truly appreciate your feedback! We love to hear from our users! What we have found is that a lot of freelancers actually have their clients sign up on Notable and invite the freelancer to join their accounts. I believe this would be the best option in your case. Do email me at support [at] notableapp [dot] come, would love to chat with you further.
