Designer Job
ZURB is looking for designer to work with our interaction design & design strategy team.
We’re a close-knit team that helps companies design better websites, services, and products online. We’ve been around over 10 years and have over 75 start-ups in our client roster. Our clients range from large, well-known companies (e.g., Photobucket, Zazzle, Facebook, Yahoo, the New York Stock Exchange) to brand-new start-ups just finding their feet (Qik, TinyPic). They all came to us based on our reputation of delivering killer ideas that work.
At ZURB we have an ever-changing roster of great clients who we work with on all kinds of projects. We're always coming up with new ideas. Some of the ones we're working on now include:
- Notable & Scrumptious, part of a coming suite of applications designed to help people design for people
- ZURB.com- we're always flexing and changing out site to make it better
What skills are we looking for?
- User Interface/Experience Design - wire-framing, weighting elements, boxes and arrows, flow, great common sense
- Visual Design Chops - You have to be able to create icons, illustrations and compelling visual design elements
- Words - clear explanations, compelling writing, and the occasional clever or funny email
- Proven Leadership – experience managing projects, deadlines, etc.
- Client Interaction – comfort level presenting your work to clients and working off of feedback
- Front-End Development - XHTML/CSS/Javascript, web standards, frameworks like Prototype.js or MooTools would be cool. Experience integrating with Rails would be great.
