We do consulting with startups (don't run screaming yet). The kind of consulting we do works closely with entrepreneurs crazy enough to want to take risks with design. They want good ideas that work, so we quickly visualize them and roll up our sleeves to get it functioning in front of people.
We aren't. We're looking for a cool person with more than one area of expertise, a "generalist-specialist" with web and design skills that overlap ours but also go beyond what we can already do. If you can mix and match three or more of these skills, we have an opportunity for you:
ZURB is in 'historic' downtown Campbell, California. Where's that? It's near San Jose and has great places like Twist to get fat on (search Yelp on that one). Three of us live up north in San Francisco, two others south in Santa Cruz; we carpool in sometimes.
We like creative thinkers, admire risk takers and refuse to look at our work as just a job. We like fun projects and push each other to get better at our craft. With that said, here are the formal requirements:
To apply, send an e-mail to jobs@zurb.com that includes:
"They've got that magical balance of creativity, roll-up-your-sleeves hard work, incredible collaboration and teamwork skills, initiative, etc etc etc. So rare. I simply can't get enough of their time... and my hope is that some of our newer designers absorb their unique talents by working with them. Kinda like osmosis ;-)"
