In the spirit of the
experience economy,
wired economy,
the caring economy, information economy, next economy,
new economy, and
information economy, I propose the ZURB economy.

As I was writing three proposals this week for new projects, I began to reevaluate my strategy.
I read wired magazines, the business sites, and any random bit of information about the internet that
I can scoop up. These are great sources of knowledge, but they can screw with your head. Complex
equations, new new stuff, cool technologies, blah blah blah. Although these are entertaining, they
often miss the point.
The ZURB economy. Simple. I provide a desirable service or product that
meets or exceeds a buyer's expectations, and in return I receive payment of equal value. Money is
the easiest form of payment because I have the most flexibility with it in the marketplace.
Greenspan might not like my oversimplification,
but it keeps things in perspective...besides I haven't even run the numbers in excel yet. Don't like
my thinking? Maybe the Web Economy generator will
help you with your own economy.
