How to Buy Test Results in Verify by Dmitry

Last week we announced that Verify users can now buy test results. This new feature allows anybody running a test in Verify to get high-quality results very fast. Due to high popularity of this feature so far already we wanted to share this short little screencast on how to buy test results in Verify:

You Can Now Buy Test Results In Verify by Dmitry

We get it, every Verify user wants quality results on their test and they want them fast. Over the past few months, we worked hard to make it dead simple to get fast, high-quality results on your tests. We are pleased to announce that, starting today, you can buy test results from testers within Verify! Here is how it works:

You create your concept test as usual. When you get to the Audience tab you’ll see a new option to Purchase Results:

Go ahead and check the checkbox next to the option and select how many results you want to get. You can either choose 25 or 50 test results. The price for the test results will be $1 per test result on all the test types except the longer Linked Tests which will cost $5 per test result.

Fill out your billing information and you’ll be all set to buy the test results.

That’s all! You can sit back and watch the test results roll in. You should get your results within 24 hours of ordering. Testers who are passionate about products will take your concept test and will give you the best feedback they can to help you make a decision.

We're excited to launch this much-demanded feature in Verify and can’t wait to hear from all of you who give this a shot. As always, please shoot us any questions or comments at support@verifyapp.com

How KISSmetrics Uses Verify by Dmitry

Hiten Shah, the CEO and Co-Founder of KISSmetrics is a good friend of ours.

Lately he has been using Verify quite frequently to figure out if certain homepage changes make sense to implement. He's been thrilled with the results, so we decided to do a quick little interview with him to find out how he is using Verify.

How do you use Verify?

I first learned about Verify because I am a big fan of ZURB and the ZURBlog. I needed to test a design before releasing new functionality on our homepage, I decided to try Verify. Worked out great, we've been using it ever since.

We love to use it to essentially "pre-test" designs before updates are made on our live website. Helps us create more educated A/B tests for our website.

How is Verify working out for you so far?

Verify is great, it helps me understand how visitors are going to react to a new design or change. It really helps me get early learnings on a new design without actually releasing the design on my website.

Verify User Gets 61 Responses On a Test Without Doing a Thing by Dmitry

It’s not everyday that you get such a wildly excited email from a customer surprised to get 61 responses on his Verify test without doing hardly anything to promote it. Below is the email we received yesterday from Daniel Patricio — Product Manager (and founder) at Pinpoint Social helping designers build Facebook promotions.

This year we were working on a pretty radical price jump on our product and we were toying with a couple options on how we could communicate it on the pricing page.

The day before I handed off the mockup to our design lead I uploaded the (very rugged) omnigraffle mockup to Verify and sent it out to 6 people, when it asked if I wanted to share it - I said sure why not.

Next thing you know I had 61 people give us some of the most detailed, positive and especially valuable critical feedback.

I was quite shocked by the volume and quality of the anonymous responses especially since it was a simple prototype. Some people gave incredibly pragmatic feedback and some people shared their questions - "What does this mean? What would I get for this package? That is great value!".

The amazing part of it all is that in less than a week we got a huge volume of qualitative feedback from completely fresh eyes and me and team already feel smarter and 5 iterations ahead.

And my designer started not only with my usual outline or mockup but with real validated feedback from 60 people that were seeing our product for the first time.

VerifyApp | Better Intro & Closing Pages by Louis

It's been a little while since we announced any major updates to Verify, but we haven't wasted that time. After listening to your feedback about the test taking experience, we went to work to develop some great additions to Verify Plus that we're excited to announce today.

Separate Intro Page

Many of you told us that starting a Verify test felt jarring because your test takers were immediately presented with a page of instructions when they clicked on your test URLs. To help ease them in a bit, we've split off the intro message into a separate page that will appear just prior to the first page of instructions. Here's how it'll look:

Thanks Page Update

The big announcement here is the addition of a button you can use to direct users back to your site or to another URL after they've completed your test. This will help you keep the conversation going after test takers have completed your test. We've also made your custom thank you much more visible to help ensure that your test takers will see it...

More Updates to Make Life Easier

In addition to these updates, we've made a few smaller changes that you might be interested in:

  • Titles for individual tests within a Linked test
  • A grabber to help you reorder Linked tests
  • Time-to-click information and raw data export for Multi-click tests
