Rene plays a significant role by helping us build and maintain ZURB's financial bedrock, without which our plan for world domination would flounder. She keeps our books, manages cash flow and ensures reporting to appropriate governing authorities.

Though originally from Wisconsin, Rene grew up in Southern California. From an early age she showed an affinity for math and developed a passion for accounting while working as a loan officer. Rene's experience helping companies grow has included all stages, from infancy, to IPO, to hundreds of employees. We are very thankful she's part of the ZURB team.

When she's not in her sports coupe zipping through the hills on her way over from Santa Cruz, Rene enjoys art, fine music and adding to the list of beaches she's visited. She often starts her day with a 2 or 3 mile run and taps into her creative side by sketching, making quilts and doing other crafts.
